WINTER RETREAT
YFC took 27 students and 4 leaders to Lake Aurora Christian Camp where souls were challenged & refreshed over the course of a weekend. We saw significant spiritual growth in our students and want to share a few highlights and photos of our time together!

We met Jillian just 4 months ago at our FLC Campus Life club. Jillian had never attended church and really had no knowledge of who God is. At this retreat she heard about Jesus’ encounter with the woman at the well.
She took diligent notes about who Christ is and what it means to believe and follow Him. We are continuing to walk with her after the retreat. Her leader has been taking her to church each Sunday and discussing the sermons on the drive home.
She has even expressed interest in getting baptized!

Ty joined Campus Life as a freshman because his friends were going. Through Campus Life and his relationship with his leader he tasted and saw that God was good.
At this winter retreat he shared his testimony with his peers and was baptized!

Jashubi is a new YFC staff member with Palm Beach County. YFC of Indian River invited him and four of his students to join us on this retreat. Jashubi had never participated in a YFC led camp of any kind. Through this retreat he gained more ground with his students and saw how important RELATIONAL ministry is.
