Lucy’s Story

We met Lucy in 6th grade. She is bubbly, fun and athletically gifted.
She and her siblings were in foster care and then eventually adopted by their maternal grandmother. This is a trend we have seen be all too common in this generation. Lucy’s past has caused hurts. Like anyone with her story would she struggles with abandonment and finding her place. She is strong but unfortunately so is the enemy.
Lucy joined us at camp this past summer and when she got home expressed through her tears how much she loved Jesus and how camp impacted her. Then she started high school. Sadly we have only seen her once at Campus Life and we have not been able to plug her into a church fellowship. This past week we learned that she is self harming in a serious manner. Darkness has crept in and the demons she battles are gripping her tightly. Pray for Christ to break their grasp and rescue His beloved daughter. Pray for Lucy to run towards Him and His healing love.
